SoftWash Systems is including this pump on all of our equipment. Instead of equipping our systems with a lesser quality and lesser power pump to keep costs down we are just putting the best on from the start. This pump will shoot a stream up to 60 feet with # 30 and #40 0 degree tips easily. We shot one in Dallas at the round table and took out a measuring tape to confirm that. I have several guys out there using them and giving me feedback. All positive so far.
Thanks Sully for bringing it up!

My should be arriving tomorrow. I'm anxious to try it out, I have heard good and bad about it (more good than bad so I'm hopeful).

I received my Pentaflex, hooked it up, tried all my nozzles and seemed to work great. Then it started acting up. When I would turn off the ball valve and go to turn it back on again I got nothing. After a minute or so it started working again, turned the ball valve off and went to turn it back on again and nothing. Any suggestions? It came pre-wired by Bob at PT so I tried bypassing his wiring and still got the same results. When the pump turns on it works great (maybe shoots a little past the Fat Boy, I measured 50' with 40 zero tip.

Try adjusting the pressure switch. I get 60' with a zero 30.

Got it working good now! I had to disconnect the pre-wiring completely, there must be a loose connection or short somewhere. I hooked it up to my existing wiring and works awesome. I tried adjusting the pressure switch but still can only get 50' (that's plenty for what I need).
Mike Sullivan- Do you have the accumulator tank hooked to yours. I had someone tell me Bob recommends using it on these pumps. It doesn't seem to need it like my Fat Boy does when I drop down in nozzle size.
How much are you paying for yours Chris. I heard they just had a price increase and I am going into negotiation mode fighting for a better price.

Mine worked for a couple jobs and now nothing. Didn't have time yet to troubleshoot it, but it started with not being able to prime itself then it shut down completely.

The new Flojet Pentaflex is a BEAST! I highly recommend it.

I just got 2 of them this week.
One for the rig, and a second for backup.
I'll probably get it setup next week.
