Ok well, lets say you didn't use a power washer, how do would you go about soft-washing this ?

Spray with a 1% Bleach solution with Green Wash. Let dwell 10 min. Rinse with clean water. Apply Bleach Wash finishing soap with hose end sprayer to neutralize and protect. Walk away:)
You may need to bump up to a 2% solution if the staining is bad. Just be careful not to bleach the wood too much and also that older wood may not come out as honey gold as newer wood.

When you say "surface scrubber" are you talking about the small 12" surface cleaners I have seen on the web? Also, does it fur up the wood or do you lower the pressure?

no it's wasn;t a 12 inch scrubber, just my regular 20 inch hooed to my 8gpm rig. Never had a problem with furring.
