Not sure if this was the best location for this but it does pertain to the skids. What is the longest ladder that can be safely transported on truck mounted skid without any front support?
Thanks!

Up to a 40' but it needs to be tied down REAL GOOD in the back. A 24 is optimum for having a lil back and a lil front balanced on the skid. The ladder racks telescope up so you can set them with plenty of room above your cab. Just remember that you can safely put more ladder above your truck and front. Leaving a long ladder behind is asking for trouble and illegal in some states.
