Would appreciate some pointers for those of us in cold climates. How do you prepare your system for winter?

We run windshield washer fluid in our lines. Once the season stops, we will take it out of the truck and store in our shop. right now, we will recycle our windshield washer mix by collecting it in a 5 gallon bucket to be reused a couple cycles.
I have not had any problems with this regimen so far.
Just be sure to rinse everything out really good with bleach wash to stop the corrosion internally.

I would think RV antifreeze would work too. I use this when I winterize a homes Plumbing system. Walmart carries it for about $3 a gallon.

Car Quest........ $103.99 for a 55 Gal drum of:
Windshield Washer Solvent Blue Coral Windshield Washer Premix - Provides freeze protection down to -20
Hey Gregg I noticed you said RV antifreeze, I was gonna use that too untill I read the side of the container where it said SAFE on all brass iron even plastic pipes , EXCEPT acetate/ thats what the SWS hoses are made of, acetate so I would go with the wwasher fluid its cheaper anyway . always something

Is there any off-season maintenance that can be done to the Pentaflex pump or is it a sealed unit? I haven't looked at it that closely. I was hoping I could perform some maintenance to extend its life.

Lubricate the motor brushes so they dont seize up. How I am not sure but I know if left unused this commonly happens.
