I was researching possible competition in my area. So far I have only found one company but they are out of my area. It seems they use RR and a power washer . Their main claim on their website is
" This process will not harm your roof, plants, or animals. NO BLEACH IS USED IN OUR OPERATION BECAUSE IT DAMAGES SHINGLES, IS HARMFUL TO PLANTS AND ANIMALS, AND IS NOT EFFECTIVE AT REMOVING ALGAE"
Their " after " pics clearly shows algae left on the roof, and they dont show the pile of granuals they evicted to the gutters.
What I thought would be competition turned out to be great pictures of what not to do to a roof :)
There web site could be your best selling tool.....
If I were you, I would, for every customer, pull up there web site, go to their gallery and say, "look at this" and show your customers pics # 3,4,5,16, and 19. When they are done looking at them, simply say, "is this how you want your HOME treated"

Thanks Doug. I was really suprised to see that they actually posted those pictures for customers to see. To me they say " See, we worked on your roof, and still didnt get it clean"

Awesome points Doug! "Where are those safety ropes, uniforms, lettered trucks..... is that a beer I see in their hip pocket?"
