Funny you should say that, AC. I'm always looking for opportunities to witness to/share with my customers via an analogy using their roof our siding. My pastor always tells us that we are in our jobs/professions for a higher purpose than the fact that we happen to be good at it. We're placed in our jobs according to the LORD's plan so that we will be used to share the Good News with the people He's planned for us to sow seeds in and influence. (As well, this is one of the ways He "provides" for us.)
What a powerful visual aid ~ a filthy roof or siding, washed cleaned by the mix, to illustrate to others how their sin can be completely washed away (with a 100% kill ratio) and how their slates can be wiped clean.
Maintaining a clean house also illustrates how once saved, they need to "remain in the Word" to continually "renew their minds" and spirit.
There's more to our work than simply saving roofs!!
A landlord who owns a rental down the street from us asked for our services in between tenants. Another happy customer.
