I'm looking for a truck. Ideal truck is 2005 or newer ford f-150 with 8' bed, standard cab. I'm on a budget. I like the ford because it has a little bit of space behind seats. I have twin pump system being delivered this week and I need a truck to put it on. The plan is to get another Softwash systems rig next year and have twin pump as back-up. If you know of something let me know as I don't mind flying and picking one up.

I just picked up this 8' longbed at auction for $4500. 97k miles - county owned vehicle.
We've found that county owned vehicles are some of the best maintained vehicles around. I had an employee that was a county mechanic and he told me that they will change oil, brake pads, and ALL fluids on these every 3 months regardless if they need it or not. He said they always had to keep busy to basically justify their existence...
We've had great success with them. Check with your county/city office and see if they can point you in the right direction.
It's got some scuffs and dings here and there, but I'm getting it wrapped, so not worried about that.
