As a member of the Greater Severna Park & Arnold Chamber of Commerce, we were invited to participate in their annual "Shop Local Fun Festival" that was held today. We partnered with the local Bruster's Ice Cream, also a chamber member. They provided the ice cream and we handed it out at our booth. We had some of our usual expo displays/props, and some of their literature/cups/spoons/napkins on our table. We were setup in the food tent, the primary draw of any event...If you feed them, they will come! And they did! The cost of the event, at $100, was nominal. We generated 12 leads of highly interested prospective clients, with 2 appointments already scheduled. ALL of these leads are within a 10 minute drive of the location of the event. At the event, I learned of 3 more community events happening today, all within 15 minutes of this one. We will be participating in all 4 next year. Get out & find those local expos / community events. It's an excellent, no pressure venue to engage your prospective clients.
